Windows

This section gives a description of the various windows used in PGOPHER. The following can all be accessed from the view menu of the Main window:

Constants window - for setting up the parameters.
Line list window - for assigning lines
Log window - results of calculations.
Residuals and intensity residuals windows - for assessing assignment and fit quality.
Overlay window - for manipulating loaded experimental plots.
State details window - for displaying eigenvalues and eigenvectors of states.
Levels window - energy level plots. See also Electric or Magnetic Field Plots.
Transitions window - for plotting transitions selected by J or other factors.
Constants plot window - for plots of constants as a function of v.
Additional plot windows can be created by selecting "Another" from the plot menu.

Other windows include:

Calibration window - for calibrating spectra
Rename dialog box - appears on right-clicking on a transition moment or perturbation in the tree view of the constants window and selecting "Rename".
The pick channels dialog box is shown if you try to load a data file with more than two channels of data, or if the assignment of the channels is not clear.
Import From Table - for importing constants for several states from a file.
